POE was really easy in my opinion. Got in line and waited, gave the visa packed and passport to the customs agent, he opened it and checked it shortly, took a picture of me and told me that I had 90 days to get married, then at the exit the sent me to go to X-ray checking. That’s it. |

I expedited. A lot of people it’s doing that and in most cases they are not asking for evidence but you can upload it under the case. |

We didn’t last a long time on the line (Applicant and petitioner), in DR petitioner can attend the interview. At the pre-interview we were asked to all the documents you have to bring an also got some questions, like. How did you guys met?, how long have you been together? I asked if he need the divorce decree and he said give me all you got and we did so. He told us to wait between window 24 and 30 and that’s what we did, when we were called we were asked the following questions:
It was like a conversation and we both answered (The petitioner answered 80% of the questions)
How did you met?
How long did you take to answer him (To me)
How long did it take to reply (Fiancé)
When was the first visit?
Who drove?
Did you drive that far to Santo Domingo?
Where do you usually stay?
Where have you stayed specifically?
Who pays for the trips?
How many times have you come? (Fiancé)
Have any of you been married?
When you got divorced (fiancé)
How long were you separated from your ex? (Fiancé)
In what year did you get divorced (petitioner)
How many times have you been here?
What was the longest visit?
Why were the visits so short?
Do any of you snore?
Have you had trouble with the law? (To me)
Have you been out of the country? (To me)
Have you applied for a visa before? (To me)
Was it approved or denied? ( To me)
Do you know about your fiancé's traffic problem? (To me)
Do you have family in the United States? (To me)
Where they live?
You have family on the island (Fiancé)
What was your favorite visit (Fiancé)
How did they talk about the wedding, electronically or in person?

It will say ready as the status when you do the ceac case status search
What Sarah says is correct. Yesterday was in transit to the embassy and today is says “Readyâ€.
Mmd82 on 2021-07-08 said: Wow that's quick. I didn't think it was that quick as I'm in a group chat and I remember someone saying that there's said in transit for days
Yea, there was a group in transit for like 1 month, they are getting interview appointments now.
They call that group the May group. They went into transit on May 13th but didn’t get updated into Ready status until June 22nd/23rd. I went into transit on June 22nd and went into ready status in June 23

Thanks! We have the biometrics appointment today. And then after the dreaded last wait to get the interview date email. Praying it’s coming very soon as this May group just got a lot of their interview date notices yesterday so I am praying we are next!
Best of luck to you today......positive thoughts going your way!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
