I went to the interview with my husband in hopes that might help clear up any doubts.Although, I knew I couldn't join in the actual interview, I went up to the window pretending to help carry documents.I wanted to make sure the interviewer saw me.He kindly said hello to me and asked if I could please take a seat.He asked my husband about six questions and gave him a white sheet of paper,it was a 221g that stated our case would need further administrative processing. What that ended up being is just security checks for name and fingerprints. |

The interview went fine although, she asked me,the petitioner the majority of the questions. Here are some examples.
How did you two meet
How long did you stay in india
Did either of your parents have a problem with this relationship
Did you communicate with his family
What language do they speek
Did they teach you how to cook indian food
Can you give me some names of the indian food you ate
Can you tell me who the people are in the picture
What did his family give you for wedding gifts
She asked my husband if we rent or own our house
She asked my husband how many bedrooms it has
She asked a few more but I cant remember. She was a very nice lady and said congrats that she has approved the aos. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
