We are Milligan v. Pompeo plaintiffs. We got an earlier interview but decided to wait until after the vaccine to go to the Embassy. We didn't want to risk travel. |

Got an RFE for an i-864 and for my partner's birth certificate, both of which we submitted with the original application. It was very complete (over 100 pages for the i-864 and my partners birth certificate was in English) and properly filed as recommended by USCIS (two hole punch in folders) and we still got an RFE!!! So so so infuriating. I called them and they said they'd look into it. In the mean time, I resubmitted the documents the same day by uploading them online.
Approved on the spot after a very simple interview just checking details on the forms. We only showed our licenses as evidence at the interview (though we brought hundreds of extra pages of evidence). |

Very simple interview- just 2 questions: Where did we meet and when do we plan to get married. Very swift. Seemed like the decision was already made. |

Timeline Comments: 3Hi guys, did you get approved in your interview? We joined the lawsuit in Dec 11th so hoping to get ours scheduled on this next round!
We did but my partner thought it was too dangerous to travel to London with lockdown and variant. We are rescheduling.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
