Embassy Review : |
Overall a positive experience. Embassy is very responsive to emails. The P3 leaves some unanswered questions, and embassy may or may not clarify them for you. Like do you bring cash? If so, dollars or euros? Online payment portal is not used, which leads to confusion. They don't want anything emailed to them at all prior to interview. However, if something is slightly wrong with papers you bring, they will give you the opportunity to fix following the interview, which is appreciated.
Applicant dealt with two people, one who collected the documents (somewhat abrasive) and one who conducted the interview (very professional and pleasant) |

Timeline Comments: 10We switched embassies while case was at NVC, so the Date Case # assigned has been changed.
Which embassy did you switch to/from?
We switched from Moscow to Vilnius.
Hi guys - have you received your EAD following the biometrics appt? Trying to figure out how long each step takes. Thanks.
No, it still says “case was updated to show fingerprints were takenâ€. But we did get the green card interview date right after the Bio, so we are not too worried about EAD.
Hi - sorry another question. How long after your biometrics appt. did you receive the GC interview date?
It took about 5 days or so.
Congrats on getting approved!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
