Despite having to wait 520 days for my interview the process was fast and smooth once K1 visa holders were able to travel during the covid restrictions.
My interview was scheduled a little under a month ahead, which gave me enough time to gather all the documents and make sure I got my medical exam papers.
The security is in front of the building in a black glass ''box''
I went there 10 minutes before but was told to wait, I was let inside 2 minutes prior. They stored everything that i had on me except for my document binder.
A list of documents i brought and the ones they actually took from me:
They will give you directions on what to do and what to bring, any questions, call or email them personally.

I was given a paper to read about my rights. 8 minute wait before i was invited into the interview section and greeted by an English speaking personnel.
Being super nervous and all she was very friendly and made me comfortable, it almost felt like talking to a friend. I could tell she definitely had read through all of the documents from the questions she asked.
I don't remember all of the questions but they were very generic and easy to answer.
The interview did not take more than 5 minutes and I was approved quick.
My visa was ready within 5 days for pickup and the following week I had already scheduled a flight to the US. |
