Hello ,can you update us about your status.?i was wondering if you get interview date or not ?
Katelyn_Wray on 2021-10-06 said:
Hey @Afiya my case is still at the NVC. Has not been sent to the embassy and we have not had an interview scheduled. This month the embassy is interviewing up to June 6, 2020 DQ IR1 cases so I still have a couple months of backlog ahead of me. The wait is around 16 months from DQ to interview right now at Addis Ababa.

Thank you for your info , hope you will update your timeline by then.

I am still waiting

The embassy is open. They did interviews this week and scheduled new appointments, through July 9, 2020 DQ for December.

Hell Katelyn, how are you. I’m a USC partitioned for my wife from Ethiopia. It’s been 14 months going on to 15 months. We’re dqd in January of 2022 but still waiting. If you know can you tell me dqd month are they working on now ? And how did you successfully transferred your husband’s case to Zambia? We hired a law firm but nothing up until now.
Thank you
Daniel and Elsabeth
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
