Comments : Interview didn't go as smoothly as hoped. The field office apparently cancelled our appointment the day before due to Covid shortages but we were not notified. Fortunately after a tense 3 hour wait we got seen.

The officer could not approve on the day as he hadn't reviewed our file in advance, but we received a notification 6 days later that we were approved. Online status changed to 'New Card Being Produced'.

Hi. I was wondering how you received your case number from the NVC. I should have received mine by now but haven't.

We filled out the enquiry form on the NVC website. They responded with the case number but did not provide a status. Link below, hope that helps. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html

You both might be interested in Greg Siskind's K-1 lawsuit. Provides a lot of info as to why NVCs are not going through.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
