I-130 PD was 11/4/2019. Applied for a K3 visa about a month later, PD was 1/4/2020. He came to visit on VWP and arrived in March right before COVID-19 shutdowns. We decided to Adjust Status because of concerns about flying and the likelihood that his flight would be cancelled anyways. On 5/18/20 I logged into the account and saw that an approval notice was sent on 5/15/20. The text of the approval still references NVC since it was approved the day before our AOS package was received. |

Case originally submitted on 5/14/20 and was rejected on 5/21/20, didn't receive package until 5/28. Realized we were missing the new I-944 (wasn't on any of the guides and websites I checked since it's so new :( ). Resubmitted on 5/30/20 and it arrived on 6/2. On 6/24 my credit card was charged. At 1045pm on 6/25 I got the receipt notice texts. On 6/29 I got them in the mail.
On 7/28/20 we got a notice that we didn't send in the medical exam.
On 11/20/20 got a biometric notice in the mail for 12/10.
3/5/21 status changes to interview scheduled. Got the notice on 3/11. Interview date is 4/8/21.
Interview was easy. Told we'd likely be approved shortly. The case was approved before I even got home and looked (>40 minutes) and had already changed to new card being produced. |

He was heavily questioned and brought to the private room. Previous two people were deported. They only spoke to him in english, which is limited. He said the officer yelled at him and didn't believe he actually had a relationship (wife) here. He finally let him go after he showed the marriage cert, house deed, and motorcycle title (proof of ties to home country). |

We were scheduled for 8am, got there at 7:35. Got in line with many others. Started letting us in at 7:45. Went thru security, checked in and waited for our number to be called until about 8:15 or so. We had a nice man. He only asked for the i693 and our IDs/passports. No other evidence. We went thru the I130, some relaxed questions about how we met, what my husband's (he's the one immigrating) plans are for himself in the US (job etc) and that's about it. Lasted less than 20 minutes, I'd say. We were back in the car by 8:40. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
