The K-1 visa interview at Abu Dhabi US embassy was very relaxed and no complications. They easily get to know if the relationship is genuine , and of they find out that’s it’s real, the whole process is easy and seamless.
The lady who interviewed me was very kind and just asked the basic questions. |

Timeline Comments: 4What is your DQ / NVC Completion Date? Did you expedite your case?
I don’t understand DQ/NVC completion date?
I got the email from US embassy with P3 letter in early March. Did not do any expedition for the case, it was just normal process.
Did you submit the civil documents and Ds160/260 to NVC? If yes, the day NVC accepts your docs is the DQed / NVC completion date. This is the date I am looking for.
I did not submit any documents to NVC.
I filled my DS-160 form when I got the email from the US embassy in Abu Dhabi, they just asked a confirmation copy of DS-160 form at the time of the interview
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
