Really simple experience.
My appt was for 0830, I arrived at 0800. I was asked to wait outside until 0815.
Once I was called up, I was then directed to wash my hands in the bathroom and then to sanitise them again before going through security.
I only brought my phone and documents with me, my phone was handed in.
Directed into the elevator, arrived to the interview room.
Took a number and waited to be called up. Questions were asked in a casual conversation manner, nothing too crazy or unexpected was asked.
He congratulated me at the end and said I was approved and to keep an eye out for my package in the mail. |

Timeline Comments: 4Congrats on getting an interview date.
Congrats on the approval.
My interview was at 9:30am, also had a pleasing experience at the consulate.
Here’s to booking flights now.
Cheers ðŸ»
Hi, we just filed our AOS today. We’re also based in Mi. Just wondering, do you have any indication as to when you will have employment authorisation card?! Any guidance or help you could provide would be appreciated. Thanks, Kevin.
Gii on 2021-08-07 said: Hi Kevin. I am not sure when I will get my EAD card. I hope it will follow soon after my biometrics but it's hard to tell.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
