Comments : There was a slight delay in the very beginning because apparently the service center divided our packet in a way that the payment was separated (?) Our lawyers submitted it so we never found out for sure what happened. We got 2 NOAs: one saying that the petition was in process and other one saying it had been rejected (on the same day!). Our lawyers had to get it fixed. Later on, there was another delay after the NOA 2 (September 12, 2019). A month after the NOA, we got an email saying "NVC will now forward the petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in Buenos Aires, Argentina." (October 29, 2019). But then it only took another month for the embassy to begin processing my visa case (November 26, 2019) and things went really fast from there, mainly thanks to my then fiance and I. We are going to do the AOS soon, on our own.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
