Consulate Review: Senegal
Review Topic: General Review
Event Description
Review Date : September 7, 2021
Embassy Review : My fiancé had my interview and was only asked four questions. He passed that part but the clinic he went to for his medical did not include his vaccination paper which caused us to get a 221g. He got the required paperwork but still received a DS-5535 which is information a harder background check. After that was completed I was able to schedule another appointment to drop of his vaccine paperwork April 20, 2021. The lady at window gave him a green card and told him to come back Thursday. The visa was not ready. After staying in Senegal and trying to a week every time the visa was not ready. I sent emails to everyone I could but no one would talk to us because apparently we were administrative processing. We again told we were approved via email to get to Senegal and the visa was not ready. Finally on June 23,2021 we received a email that were approved this time the visa was actually ready. Be careful because the communicate with public sucks and they will not respond to you.
Rating : Poor

POE Review: Chicago
Event Description
Entry Date : 2021/08/13
Embassy Review : No issues really they just held my fiancé a little longer which made us miss out connecting flight. They were really nice about rescheduling though.
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
