POE Review: JFK
Event Description
Entry Date : 2008-02-08
Embassy Review : the flight frankfurt-jfk: drunken russian man sitting next to me, getting more drunk and trying to touch me. flight attendents moved me to another seat.

arrival in jfk: really fast immigration people there. only had to wait for about 20 minutes. the officer at the regular booth opened the envilope, stapeled everything, but a few stamps on things and sent me to the crappiest, darkest and dirtiest office there is. the chick there gave me $hit that i don't have an engagement ring, and that eric holding a doctorate degree would mean that i would at least have to get 1.5carat or more. whatever. she was new in the office and didn't know about the EAD-stamp, but her collegues (at this time discussion wheather they got they diarrhea at the restaurant or the bar they went to). told her about it and the stamp looks like a bad fake attempt of some illegal person trying to get employment.
it took me about 10minutes to clear immigration. total.

luggage carts cost $3 at JFK, i was too savy for that, and the security people felt sorry for me and my 4 bags and gave me one for free. changing terminals was ok (i had to recheck my luggage as i was continuing with a different airline and ticket) and i spent the rest of my layover drinking coffee and eating muffins.

Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
