Ohk, but can u please tell me that if we don't have uscis online account then can we see nvc process in uscis website?
Bryma on 2021-02-04 said:
You can check your status anytime from this link, https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do
Only you need to enter Receipt number.
And, NVC process is different from UCSIC process, so once USCIS transferred your application to NVC, you will receive a Case Number from NVC. Then you can log in to CEAC then check the status while your case is at NVC stage.

Ohh, uscis site also show when they send u welcome letter on these site? I mean they only send u mail or we can also see on uscis website?
Bryma on 2021-02-04 said:
No, you can't see when NVC sent you a welcome letter on USCIS site. But you might know you will receive a welcome letter soon when the status changed to "Case was sent to Department of State" on USCIS site.

Bryma on 2021-02-04 said:
I don't think so. their rule is "One application, one account."

Hi Bryma,
Congrats and getting NVC approved.
I noticed your NVC got approved only 1 month after USCIS, while many others have to wait up to 14 months.
So I'm curious if you did anything special to make your case go through faster or have any other advise that could be of use to speed up to process.
Hope to hear from you.
Best,
Paul

Hi Paul, thank you! Actually we didn't do anything to make our case reviewed quickly such as sending an expedite request, but we waited more than 1 year with USCIS. Then our application went to NVC and was quickly picked up and processed. The only thing we could say is have all your documents prepared and be ready for when you can submit them/they ask for them. I hope your case will be approved soon!
Bryma on 2021-02-22 said:
Also, I think it depends on which country the applicant is from. If your spouse is not from Japan but a different country, there may be a different amount of time for processing.

Thanks for your response. Good to hear that at least this step worked out fast for you two, even without a expedited request. We'll definitely try to make the paperwork solid. Good luck with the interview next month!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
