Comments : - COVID delayed process at USCIS for I-129F
- Requested an expedite from NVC to Embassy for personal reasons. This took many emails between myself and the Embassy and NVC. We were not told if the case was approved for an expedite, but it was 'In Transit' to the Embassy 2 business days after the Embassy said they would contact the NVC about our case. I would assume they treated our case as an expedite.
- Interview was set for 02/02/21 at 10:30am. My fiancé arrived at 10am and left by 12:30pm.

Comments : We got a notification through one of the tracking apps that the I-485 has been approved and that a new card is being produced. I am not sure if the case was transferred to Portland.
Something that we have been noticing with some others in a Seattle AOS group is that quite a few of the cases of those that live below Seattle have been transferred to Portland. We have also noticed that the interviews have been waived. Not sure if this is what happened for us, as there was no clear indication.

Hello Kaira & Edgardo, My fiance is also from Honduras. Just want to say thanks for updating your timeline. this is really helpful to have an idea how long it will take for our application to reach the embassy. Our NOA1 is July 20th. Hope you dont mind me asking you questions regarding your interview process. Thanks Luis

Of course, that's what this community is here for! I have been emailing the embassy since our case was sent to NVC. They have not given me any truly helpful information, however they did say that once our case made it to the embassy that they would be able to provide further instructions on how to set up an interview. I take that as a win, its not like they flat out said they were not processing K1 visas like a lot of other embassies. I did email the NVC last night and request an expedite for our case to embassy regarding my personal circumstances with needing help at home. The good news is that Honduras is fairly open and Eddy hasn't had any issues collecting the documents that will eventually be needed at the interview, so we have been focusing on collecting all of that. Feel free to hit us up if you do have questions. I will definitely be updating our timeline as soon as we hear.

Congrats on your application being in transit to Honduras! did they approve your expedite request or are they processing your application normally?

Congratulatioms to you both! So happy to find someone from Honduras. My husband is in Roatan. We have been approved by NVC and just waiting for medical and interview. Are we able to try and expedite now? I have no idea where to start. TIA

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
