20 minute interview at the USCIS office in Irving. Super easy and friendly. Officer laughed out loud when he asked if we had any other supporting documents. and i pulled 3 400 page ring binders asking what he would like. (bank statements, bills, insurance ect) we can very prepared. I was more nervous then I should have been. From time we parked the car till we drove off was 1.5 hrs. (we where 30 minutes early) |

Have been prepping the N-400 packet over the last week. We are using the same legal team, since our lawyer also immigrated from South Africa, she had some great insights on the process. Packet will go in on the 23rd as this is the 90 day marker for my IR6 GC. Will update as we go filing in Dallas TX
UPDATE:: Received notice today (2/2) that I dont need to redo Boimetrics and thus saved a bit of time.
Interview went smooth, appointment was set at 10:20am was seen at about 11:40am out by noon. Notice text was sent at 1:42pm that say that the Oath Invite was mailed out. Date was three weeks after interview!
Side note: To the amazing staff at Pollock immigration, Karen and Stephanie you guys made this so easy! thank you.
Also to the USCIS team at the Dallas Office, you folks are amazing thank you for being kind and patience.

To start... we did arrive about 30 minutes before our allotted time. But from the moment we pulled in to the parking lot till we drove off was 1.5 hours.
We arrived and waited out side for about 25 minutes. once inside we did the temp check, followed by the TSA security check. Bags, pockets, paperwork, shoes in buckets and scanned. Simple and Easy. You check in on the ground level and once your fingerprints and photo is taken you are cleared to the upstairs waiting room. You check-in with the Receptionist and then you wait. It was a bit noisy and sometimes hard to hear the names being called. So I suggest sitting closer to the front. once our name was called, we proceeded to an office and the total interview was only about 20 minutes. The officer was kind and friendly. He Laughed out loud at our preparations for the interview. We had multiple binders each with all our filing documents as well as back up documents. They made it so much less stressful. At the end of the interview we were informed that we should check the website at 4/4:30pm to see if there is an update. If our case was approved the website will say card being produced.
Simple and easy!!!!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
