Hello Vanessa. When you submitted the ds160 did you say you had an interview appointment so you could schedule your VAC appointment?
Julie And Jose on 2021-08-02 said:
And thank you for your time
Vanessa89 on 2021-08-02 said:
I did select yes I have an appointment, but ultimately I ended up canceling the VAC because the results are only good for 30 days and I still don’t have an interview date yet.

Congratulations. I’m still waiting. 😢

I see the embassy received yours a couple weeks after mine, so there’s no doubt yours is coming very soon!!!

Hi there. Congrats on your interview! Do you know of a wasap group for dominicans doing the K-1 process? if so, can you please share it with me? also, do you recall which vaccines they checked you had? and lastly, the embassy was the one setting your interview appointment, right? You did not do it yourself.
I really appreciate your help. And congrats again.

Thank you! There is a WhatsApp but I am not on it. You can go to their FB group which I am apart of and ask them to invite you to the WhatsApp group. The FB group is called (Dominican k1/aos/cr1). I am the petitioner, I unfortunately don’t remember the vaccines but I know he had to get 3 vaccines, if you enter the US after November 1st you will also need the Covid vaccine. & yes the embassy will email you with a date!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
