It's the shortest time I had throughout my visa journey to the USCIS. Again, the IO is so friendly as what I had when I started in Manila. As long as you're prepared and have more documents to bring, they will not ask anything about it. The good thing was when we're browsing and checking my documents, the IO and I have the same page arrangement. So, she stopped. The 6 civics/history question was so quick, read 1 sentence and wrote 1 sentence as she dictated. And had more time time discussing about our baby which she saw at the lobby. :-) God bless her!

Minneapolis/St. Paul is the most friendly port of entry I guess. There were no hard or pressing questions asked from me when I got there. They just asked for my visa stuff and where was I heading for. In no less than a minute my passport was returned to me with the stamped I-94. Even the scanning of my check-in luggages and hand-carried baggages were not a big deal as long as you honestly filled out the form they told us to fill out while on the plane and they even offered me a cart to carry my stuff at the check-out counter going to another checking in gate bound to Fort Lauderdale. The flight attendants of Northwest and even the immig officer in Minneapolis were so amazed on how dedicate I was to carry a Goldilock's Sansrival -- the thing is my purpose and goal in coming here to Florida is genuine and profound - to be with the love of life, my most amazing woman, Michelle.   |
