Hi congratulations I sent you a message on your box could you please answer me
I am living in italy and I filed a k1 but I am not italian just living here so I had some questions about your case was it expedite ,emergency or was it a normal case? also I asked about schengen travel ban due to new proclamation covid-19
did they tell you at the interview about it and how can you travel?
Mahta121 on 2021-01-27 said:
sorry I have another question do the embassy give you the date of interview or you chose the date

Hi . Thank you!
It was a normal case, but we’ve been part of the lawsuit Milligan vs Pompeo. At the Embassy they told me I have to quarantine for 14 days outside the banned countries. And also they gave me the interview date.

thank you so much for taking time answering me
how many applicants were at the embassy? was there any other k1 visa applicant ?
Mahta121 on 2021-01-27 said:
and how much did you pay for vaccination and medical exam?
Ali&Ed on 2021-01-27 said:
Not a worry 😉. At the Embassy there was another plaintiffs lawsuit for k1 and 2 spouses visa. I got two shots at the medical exam ( if the vaccines are older than 10 years you’ll have to do them again). I payed the vaccines and the medical exam 277€ .
Mahta121 on 2021-01-27 said:
thanks a lot .
did you take your record vaccination card with yourself?
Mahta121 on 2021-01-27 said:
do you receive your visa or are you still waiting? do they say after how many dates they issue visa?
Ali&Ed on 2021-01-27 said:
I took the record vaccines but it didn’t serve at anything because all the vaccines I did I was a baby. So the person there told me which one is important for USA.
I did not receive the visa, they said between 3-5 days I’ll have it.

thanks for your message but how could you see the schedue dates.
are you a k1 visa applicant or married applicant waiting for the interview?
_C&C_ on 2021-01-28 said:
I'm spouse, once you complete NVC you have to book the appointment on naples consulate site
Mahta121 on 2021-01-28 said:
thanks. because i am k1 applicant still my file under process to reach NVC
so after reaching NVC is it possible to see the time schedule or first you should get invitation letter from embassy to allow you choosing dates?
_C&C_ on 2021-01-28 said:
Yes you need to wait NVC approve and transfer case to embassy, than you after welcome letter you will be able to see the dates.
Mahta121 on 2021-01-28 said:

Hi!! hope everything is going well on that side of the ocean!

Everything is well. Yes they did give me the copy. Make sure you take it with you in the states.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
