Have you guys had any word back yet on your I-130?

We haven’t no - watching it everyday though seeing the number of approvals happening with PDs later than ours! How about you?

It seems your center and our center operate on wildly different approval systems. Ours seem to systematically follow the PDs whereas Texas Center is really all over the place. The latest recent approval without expedite had an NOA1 of August 13. I have been trying to understand it, and I still can't. Do you use a case tracker app at all? Hoping you guys hear something soon!

Thanks so much! You guys too! Yeah we’re also struggling and to be honest somewhat frustrated with the system. Although still thrilled for those that are getting approvals! It’s also frustrating to see on the DHS tracker the date attached to the benefit being accepted changing periodically, but no change to the status. Texas seems to be messy though that’s true. At the very least with Potomac, you have some idea where you stand, even if they’ve also slowed down due to what seems to be a large number of transfers. We’re using a couple of apps, neither of which are official though. More just logging on (now several times per day haha) to see if there’s any news. How about yourselves?

I pretty much only use the timelines, forums, and Facebook groups to gauge where we are at. Since everyone from July onward has an IOE number and I can't figure out what the logic to the numbers are now, it makes it difficult to check any cases other than those within 500 of my own in our case tracker. I'm hopeful you guys will receive some good news soon! Texas is really flying along here!

Congratulations on getting your interview date you guys! Did you expedite your case?

Hey thank you! You too I see! Very easy process nothing to be overly concerned about :) thrilled it’s all over

Congratulations! Did you expedite? We just got DQ’d last Friday, September 4 and people have said there’s no way we’ll get an interview any time soon without expediting. Regardless I’m staying positive and hopeful. I know we’re near the end of this process.

Hi Ann, fingers crossed for you both! We did indeed expedite, and I would highly recommend at least trying to do so, so that the case doesn't languish at the NVC. London seem to be happy to expedite cases based on emotional hardship so even if there is no other reason, it's worth a go :)

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
