Hi there! Parabens! My fiancé received our NVC notice on March 3, and are currently awaiting our IIN and BIN to schedule our interview date in Rio but haven't yet received the approval to do so. Would you mind sharing with me how you went about scheduling :) Thank you so much for any help!

Hey, thank you. Of course I can help you. With your RDJ number you can start your DS-160, you don’t have to finish immediately, but save the number and click in “save†everything time during your working, but the most important thing is that you have your RDJ and DS - 160 number, with that, you can schedule your interview. They’re closed and just return in June, so, no problem you can schedule and the have lots of time to get your documents in your country. If you have any question, ask me. Good luck

Hey, how are you? No, they canceled, hopefully, it will be in October 20th. How about you?
Mairead on 2020-07-07 said:
Oh no! You as well?! We are hopeful for November 10th for our interview.

I'm in the same situation as you guys, but haven't yet scheduled my interview. What do I need to do exactly having my DS-160 and RDJ since April?

Thank you! Have it scheduled for November. Did you have any difficulties with the Medical Exam at all?
Mairead on 2020-09-24 said:
Ours was canceled for October 20th interview and October 13 medical. Now they are November 10th and 3rd respectively. No issues aside from the cancellations!
What about you?

My interview was cancelled too, now I’m in January 26th 😢😢😢

Oh @Renatac14 I am so so sorry! This is the most frustrating thing! HOW do they not have virtual interviews???
Mairead on 2020-09-24 said:
@Renatac14 - there appears to be an opening on November 3rd if you want to try to get an interview in this year :) Not sure it will stick, but may be worth a try!

They have appointments to November, but I don’t believe they will open, because Rio de Janeiro stills in phase zero and they just going to process visas on the phase III. Justin is domingo the first week in November, that’s a good notice 🥰

Wow, ours is scheduled for November 3rd, but I'm unable to do my medical exams with Dr Juliana in BH. How did you receive your cancellation notice and how soon before the interview date? I wonder if ours would be cancelled as well.
Not sure if it's allowed, but we should do a small Whatsapp Group to kind of keep each other updated, what do you think? Mine is +1(508)905-9902

Hello, was your interview cancelled?

Hello, yes. Now I’m scheduling to June 29th. ðŸ˜
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
