Comments : 2/18/2020: Requested USCIS expedite
2/20/2020: Expedite request denied, with the following explanation:
"Although your situation appears serious, the explanation given does not provide enough information to qualify for expedited processing. You must demonstrate you meet one or more of the criteria listed at the following link: https://www.uscis.gov/forms/expedite-criteria"

3/20/2020: Out of the blue.. just got notice that i-130 was approved. Was not expecting until middle of May. Expedite request was denied.. but I don't know... it seems like they did. Well... we're HAPPY!

04/20/2022: We've all but given up on the idea of getting residency for my wife. They made us pay again after lack of activity, even during "covid". And then Biden changed the rules again and wife is completely disqualified because we won't be taking their injections. We've got a new baby now and have moved to a new country (that isn't mandating injections). If the USA ever decides to get it's humanity back (not holding my breath), then maybe we will reconsider. It's bizarre though. Myself and our 3 kids are all Americans, and only the mom (my wife) is not. Yet, she's the only one they can force vaccination on. She lives and sleeps and eats with all of us, yet somehow she's a threat to the United States if she doesn't take their injections? Nope. Doesn't make any sesne. We don't HAVE to reside in the USA. Plenty of other beautiful places in the world to live, and with some freedom and bodily autonomy intact.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
