Comments : Sandy finally received her visa yesterday. We are so happy it is behind us. We was a little disturbed because her interview was 18 July @ 7:00am and the Consular Interviewer told her she was approved but, return on 23 July (Mon) with 3 years of Petitioners tax returns. Per I-134 (Affidivat Of Support tax returns are ONLY needed if you are self employed. Advise to everyone bring tax returns! The Consular Interviewer ask her, how we met, when we met and when did I come to Thailand. Interview lasted 5 minutes. Sandy returned 23 July (the following monday) with 3 years of my taxes. They once again said you are approved but, return 30 July @ 3:00pm to pick-up visa. Now I was upset because normally you pick up your visa 1-2 days but they were telling her a week. I had already changed her airline ticket once. I then emailed Embassy explaining the situation. I waited 2 days for a reply. They actually called Sandy on her mobile and told her to come in tomorrow and pick up visa. I guess they realized that I was a angry American. But, I will tell everyone this, the email system works very well.
As I write this email now, Sandy is on her flight now to LAX!

Good Luck Everyone...

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
