Consulate Review: Bangladesh
Review Topic: K3 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : August 31, 2007
Embassy Review : My wife entered in the embassy at 8 AM on 27th Aug 2007,and Her interview took place at the very end. The consular was an american woman who was very nice and didn't ask any question other than the date of marriage. She spoke clear Bengali which surprised my wife. After the Interview she was told to go to another window where there was a Bangladeshi clerk(Woman) with rude attitude. She scold at my wife saying " Why you have so many paper attached ?" Only the extra paper was I-864 which they are not collecting anymore as I-134 is doing the job. Then she scatarred all her papers which scared my wife if she is going to lose any of them. My wife was given an token and told to come on the next day to collect her passport with Visa. On the 28th She went there and was told to comeback the next day without any explanation (How un-professional).On 29th She was told to come back next week as they had some problem while transfering her Data abroad. Everybody else who were interviewed with her on the same day got VISA without any problem. It is our Fate I guess!!! Till today(Aug 31) we are waiting for the Tuesday (09/04) to have the result.
Rating : Very Poor

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
