PatLuvO on 2022-02-08 said:They will send you the K1 packet when your case arrives at the embassy from NVC. I received the packet about a week after my case status was Ready. You don't have to wait for the packet to do your medicals. All you need is the NVC welcome letter letting you know your case went in transit, Interview confirmation notice, Covid vaccine card, and international passport.

*Please note that you don't need to register again because you already are registered on the CGI portal when you picked your date. So don't worry that you need to create a new profile.

Make your answers direct and to the point to avoid them asking too many follow up questions. Get to the embassy early by 6am regardless of what time your interview time is.

You can also use this link to track your passport. Scroll to the section that asks you to input your passport number. If it's ready it will say it but if it says no results then it means the passport isn't ready yet.
