Wow!! You got NoA2 within 3 months! thats amazing! I am curious.. What documents did you accompany with I-129F form when you filed to USCIS?? thanks!!

Hi Shaniya, Along with my I-129F I sent, 7 photos (not copied), original Intent to Marry letter, 1 chat session from the day before I sent documents ( It was a copy and only about 1 hour worth of chat), Copies of boarding pass, copy of two hotel stay receipts, bank statement showing payment of hotels and car rental, Front page and Thailand stamped pages of my passport, copy of birth certificate.1 passport photo. Copy of drivers license. That was about it. The bad thing is, I forgot to make copies of everything I send except I-129F. I put them in a folder on my computer to print out at a later time and my computer crashed and now i can't get all the copies. But I will send her what I have from originals. so she has them for her interview. I should be getting a letter from the NVC this week stating they sent packet to Bangkok Embassy. You should get your in a couple of weeks. I think mine was fast becasue I have had government identification in the past and I am on record. Let me know if you need help if it doesn't go through and I will help.. Steve

HI! How are you doin?? Im here to ask about some updates of your case after Noa2! hows the case going?

Hey!! I'm still awaiting my NVC received letter. I emailed that and got an automated email saying to use their website. I went on the website and it said that they are only accepting emails for emergency only. Emergency as in medical or deaths. They said in red, all other inquiries about status of petition documents and concerns about NVC letter will not be accpeted due to the covid virus. They said to continue to wait. They are very short handed and will get to my petition package as soon as possible, My expiration date is August 26, 2020 and I would assume that they would ignore that date and give me a new date as they process my paperwork. But right now, I can't fly to Thailand and she can't fly to America. I think everyone is stuck right now all over.... How's if going with your paperwork?

If you haven't received your case number from NVC yet, know that you can email them through the website to ask for it. It may not be an emergency, but having the case number at least provides some peace of mind while we wait. They got back to me pretty quickly when I asked. Anyway, I'm hoping that the embassy in Bangkok is able to get to our cases by February/March! Please keep us updated. :)

I tried to put 1/25/21 for NVC received but it says (8 weeks max) from time of NOA2 and NVC received. I am just putting the date as left NVC because that's what the letter says. I think it's due to the virus closures.

Congratulations on receiving the visa! We just had our interview and are just waiting for the visa now. :) I assume your fiance will be flying into SEA? Mine will likely be as well, so may I ask what airline and route you decided on? Thanks.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
