In case someone is wondering why it took so long for us: we were not in a hurry to move to the US, hence we were purposely dragging out NVC process. We basically waited a year to start uploading all the documents.
Waiting times for the approvals were as follows:
1) USCIS - 4 months
2) NVC - 1,5 month RFE
3) NVC - 2,5 months DQ
4) Interview Letter - 1 week
5) Interview - 3 weeks
All together, it would have taken us 6 months if we had uploaded documents right away. |
