Usually they transfer cases due to work load. There were some Nebraska cases that were transferred in January to Vermont and one of the ones I was following just got approved. Have you tried calling the USCIS or did you ever receive a piece of mail from them? Usually they are supposed to give you an answer within 90 days of the transfer. There is a support group on here for transfers. Maybe you can ask them for advice. https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/729086-case-was-transferred-and-a-new-office-has-jurisdiction/

I called uscis service center today and spoke to one there customer service centre representative, explaining to her why my case was transferred to VSC. She asked me for my case number to see what going on with my case. She then told me cases can transferred for several reasons, but never mentioned what reason was mine. She also told me that my case is outside the normal processing time, gave me a reference referral number and told me that I should received a respond from them within 30 days. I am getting nervous ! Does that a good sign or a bad sign for my case ! Kinda nervous for my spouse. Please respond

Hi any update on your case?
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
