Finally I just snapped and was like, "what the hell is going on?" I ended up calling my senators and my congresswoman- and their liaison followed with Homeland Security. As I was getting on the plane to visit Miriam the email came- our petition had been approved. I was crying in the airport and telling the Ethiopian women working at LAX what had just happened. They were happy for us. Just sent off the package today. Everything was perfect, but I forgot to translate her emails and her letter to me! Yow! Fedex has the package... so now I guess we'll wait and see what happens. Let Us Be Blessed. 06-27-07 We just got our NOA 1 in the mail and it feels good to know the process has begun. We just keep wondering how LOOONNNG! Although with Vermont and Lima it looks like it's faster than most. Ojalla. Processing Estimates/Stats : Your I-129f was approved in 146 days from your NOA1 date.
