If anyone is following this timeline, we will be intentionally delaying the interview date by not submitting the packet 3 immediately, due to some personal commitments.

Thanks! She was in the consulate for nearly 3 hours! The interview didn't last that long, but apparently there was only one consular officer working that morning :/

Hope she will get her visa soon. Best of luck for the rest of the visa journey.

Thanks! Now just waiting for the consulate to let us know when we can pickup her passport. We want to get her on a plane as soon as possible. This Coronavirus has us worried about additional travel restrictions.

I was in the same position so I totally understand the frustration! I booked my flight right after I got my passport back, and arrived in SF last Saturday! Mine took 3 working days, so I’m sure your fiancé will get hers back early next week! Best of luck to you both! :)

Did you pickup or have your passport delivered?
blank avatar Vivk on 2020-03-12 said:
I picked it up at one of the sf express locations!

Hi there, just wondering if you answer a question for relating to the K1 process in HK, as we just had our case transferred from another embassy. We have already received and returned the Packet 3. My question is regarding the visa interview. Did you schedule yours on ustraveldocs.com or did the Consulate assign you an interview date?
blank avatar Jermwhl on 2020-09-04 said:
They will assign you an interview date. You should receive a packet 4 in a few weeks (unless there is timeline delays due to the pandemic).

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
