Embassy Review : |
Well we had our interview on December the 3rd, 2007. I arrived into Lima on the night of the 2nd and we were all excited. We showed up at 8:00am for our 8:45 interview(which was the last interview time for K-1 Visa that day) we finally got into the embassy at 9:00am and we were called up to the first window at 9:40am. After talking with the lady behind the glass partition, she told us we were missing a form for my Fiancee's daughter, so we ran across the street and got onto the hotels computer and filled out the proper form but unfortunately the front desk cleck printed out the wrong version of the form. We went back to the embassy and we were told we needed the correct print out of the form, so we went back to start all over again. After we had the right version, everyone stopped working at the embassy at 10:00am we waited until about 3:00pm for our interview, because we had the last interview time, we had the last interview of the day. They also had a bunch of student and work visas they were doing that day, so that is why they said they were delayed. Oh well, all in all the process was very easy, we just had a long wait in between. |

Embassy Review : |
We relaxed as we got off of the plane because we knew we had 4 hours for our connecting flight. We were the last ones to go through immigration but it was very quick, just a few questions and then Isabel and Isabella had to go into a private room for another interview. I was not allowed to be with them and they cam out about 15 minutes later and all was OK. All in all in was pretty stress free. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
