Hey! I filed a similar application in April 2019 and haven’t received approval yet Am I reading correctly that your package was approved and sent to nvc within 3 months?
blank avatar Hawk Riders on 2019-11-02 said:
Yes. Currently in NVC limbo though...

Ah good luck! Thanks for the update

Also worth noting: we filed an I-129F as soon as we had the receipt notice for the I-130

I notice you are the person who maintains the fabulous spreadsheet on Montreal wait times. It has been very helpful. If nothing else, it gives some hope that something is moving. Thank you very much. I see, someone, presumably you, has put some colour coding into the early 2020 DQ dates with estimated month of interview. For now, only about 10 interviews per month are foreseen. It seems, even with 25% staff, Montreal seems to be capable of about 25 per month. Do you think that is reasonable and possible ?

Typically they have 2 days/ wk for IR/CR-1 interviews in the morning. Many things are different now so any predictions will be unreliable until time- tested...

Thank you for the response and the great job on the spreadsheet.

Hello! I see you got DQ’ed on December 16th. I got DQ’ed on May 12th which if you minus the 2 months of office closure is actually only 3 months after you. So since you have your interview in October, I’m assuming mine will be 3 months later in January? However, I know there is lots of cases they haven’t resumed yet so it might be quicker than 3 months after you. What do you think?

@hawk riders Thank you so much for putting the spreadsheet together! Could you please include my timeline?

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
