it is my turn to share my experience to help others.
PD july 28, 2018 by september 25, 2018 ready to be scheduled
nov1,2019 interview scheduled to Dec 16, 7.15 AM Manhattan office field
feeling nauseous on highway ( forgot my passport and medical form) stuck in traffic got to the building at 8 am got my ticket number 8.30 - told my sister to bring the folder that i forgot ( 1.20 hr drive my sister is my ride to die) 10 am got called to door 2 - officer say to do the oath and no video recording.
asked for passport, id and original documents - i told him that forgot my passport and he said he will take the copy- i gave him my binder and he said to take it out of the binder and put in the table .( so i put bills in one side and bank statements in one side and originals another side so it doesn't mix)officer asked for leases- i said we never got leases for previous addres but we have one for our current address (CT) - he updated the address in computer and asked for zip code - i answered and he said didn't ask you , i asked your husband -

who rented? wife
how did she rented? i think her dad helped her out
you think? you dont know how she rented the car! - yes i know her dad helped her.
were you involved in the moving- no that much because of work-
where do you work- at that time i was working...now i work....
have you changed address at your work and bank accounts?no
why not? i wanted to keep all our address under this address because of our procces.
you have other bank accounts ? yes

came in with parents, was their intention to stay? i don't know sr, i never asked them.
have you traveled after the first time you came here? no

they have legal status here? yes
went for yes / no 485 questions.
i asked for medical form expiration, officer said that is good until 2020- is said sister is going to kill me- officer laughed - husband chatted- then i heard the magic words- i'm going to approve your I-130 and adjusment of status i should put it by the end of the day- Thank you Sr.
came out laugh, my husband hold my hand - always comforting me -
check all afternoon for online updates and nothing! husband went to work. i was playing with daughter getting distracted she fells sleep and i did too. after work husband calls he is on his way home . i checked the website and said card is being processed-
saw husbands car in our driveway opened the door and hug kiss him - we did it !! - he said i told you everything is going to be alright-
thank you very much for everyone taking their time in sharing and responding questions. Thank you my lord- have faith in God and he will listen your heart- also thanks to my husband for holding my hand every time i was feeling down , for being comprehensive and for our beautiful daughter.
i know how it feels not able to travel in emergency cases - my mom died 8 years ago - my older brother who is not mentally well got his visa denied and he is by himself in our country, being helped by cousin when ever they can, and i would cry every time i call and hear his voice. Finally God finally i can see him- we are looking for flights for next month . surprise him on his bday after 25 yrs apart. going to my moms grave and i have this feeling that she is going to be there alive waiting for me.
