I-129F package arrived at CSC the next morning,2007-5-31. Check was cashed on 6/11/07. Hard-copy received in late Aug, 1 week after making a RFE phone call to USCIS. "Touched" on 21 Aug after "RFE call". Timeline update to reflect "receipt" as opposed to "notice" for NOA1 date, ie May 31 instead of June 11.
"Touched" again on 18 Oct, no "RFE call" made.Approved on 18 Oct! Found out on Oct 22, NOA2, via snail mail. Case status online not updated (other than touch). No e-mail received either. Packet three arrived on 28 Nov. Interview on 20 Dec! Interview was smooth. Passport will be mailed with visa packet. Need it by Dec 28th! Got it! Sent by registered mail (US Emb STO pays!) 1 day after interview, then delayed over holidays. |

Card valid from 4/12/08 till 4/11/09. Postmark 4/18/08, letter dated 4/16/08.
Received "card production ordered" e-mail on 4/16/08. Received "approval notice sent" e-mail on 4/21/08! I doubt anything was sent on 4/21. My I-94 with EA expired on 3/30/08, so I was only without EA for 2 weeks. Not bad considering that I waited a month to apply for perm res. Shows that a gap in employment authorization may be avoided - if you're lucky.

Arrived right on time and stood in the immigrant visa/US Citizen line (way shorter than the other line). Once inside, I walked up to the designated window and processing began immediately. The consular officer was very friendly, and only asked a few questions (has your fiancee been married before, when do you plan to get married, has she been to Sweden). I was then told to wait a while, and some 15 minutes passed before I was called to a second window. There I signed a document stating my intent to get married within 90 days and was told I would have the visa and passport in a few days. Even though they mailed it the next day (Dec 21), it took a week since there was no regular mail delivery from Dec 22-26! That was kinda nerve-wracking for totally irrational reasons. All in all though, super smooth! |

Extremely smooth. Got an officer who had just gone on duty and who was very nice. After looking through the packet, she led me to a back room where I waited for all of 10 secs. I asked for her name so I knew who had let me in, she told me and said "welcome!". Then she told me that I should instead walk around baggage claim to another waiting area where I handed another official my passport and documents. After a couple of minutes, he stamped an EA on the I-94 and off I went to be reunited with my dearest! |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
