Hi! I see your biometrics appointment is on 8/18, mine is on 8/30. Are you able to post a review of how your biometrics appointment went?

Hi TrinitySnow. The biometrics appointment took about 15 minutes. Do not arrive more than 15 minutes before your appointment time as there was a long line out of the door, but they were all people who arrived VERY early for their appointments and were told to wait. I was able to skip the line as I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment. Upon entering the building, I went through airport style security and showed my appointment letter and passport. I went up an elevator to the USCIS floor where they scanned my fingerprints, asked for my passport again, asked me to sign my name and then stamped my biometrics appointment letter and gave it back to me to keep. Very easy process.

Hi! I’ve been following your timeline since my bio appointment was just 12 days after yours.
Congratulations on getting approved! I’ve still yet to see any updates on my.uscis about my EAD/AD. Did you give them a call to expedite your application or anything? I’m hoping my application gets approved soon like yours.
Thanks!

Thank you! No expedite, just normal processing. It took 200 days from when we submitted our application to receive the EAD card. Hopefully it comes through for you quickly too!

Hi again, I just realized your CIS office for your EAD/AD was in New York City. Were you told to send it there? I was told to send mine to the Chicago National Office. Thanks!

I think that was my error. I sent everything to Chicago and was assigned NYC for AOS. EAD/AD was processed through the National processing center, not NVC

Hi! Are you able to post a review of your interview and how it went? I just received my interview notice in the mail today! Thanks
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
