Event Description
Review Date : December 9, 2019
Embassy Review : Today, my fiancé and I had a long but pleasant experience at the Jamaica Embassy location. We were approved for our Visa and happened to be the last ones standing. It was worth the wait and our consular was very pleasant and great to work with.

I figured cuz of the holidays there is gonna be a delay still

We’re still in AP as well and I think holidays has played its part in the wait. From what I heard it’s pretty standard on the waiting time. They still do more looking into your background even after being approved. Congratulations 🎉🎈🍾 to you!! 😊 When are you going to get married and have started planning the wedding?
blank avatar T&T1 on 2020-01-09 said:
Thank you !! 😁 I'm just ready to see issued already tho ! Over this whole process. We havent started planning as yet but we are thinking about a date in February for the wedding if everything runs smoothly ..

Me too!!😊 This process is very stressful and I just found out that it goes from immigrant to non immigrant with a new case created. Then it goes from ready to issued! I think it will move smoothly we just have to be very I mean very patient 😂. We were talking about February too actually Valentine’s Day! Well, wishing you the best of luck and send me a few pictures after the wedding. Congratulations again and I’ll check back with you soon to check on your progress🙏🏽

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
