Due to the COVID-19 pandemic our visa was fast tracked. My husband's interview was on March 19th 2020 and was the final day of interviews before the consulate was closing indefinitely. They overnighted his visa and we received it on March 20th 2020. There were only a few flights out of New Zealand that following week before they canceled all flights leaving the country. So he flew into the US on March 23rd 2020. We were extremely lucky with how things transpired at the end. He made it here safely and made it through his 14 day quarantine just fine!
