The two days in Juarez were pretty stressful but went super well. We got up really early on both days. The medical exam was easy and took a few hours once we got in the door, but most of that time we were just waiting in our separate waiting rooms. We went to the clinic next to the consulate and would recommend it. They treated Juan very well. The consulate day was LOOOOONG and that was the source of any complaints (that for 14 hours from when we got in line to when he came out I couldn't go inside and was outside across the street on the sidewalk in 110 degree heat, really direct sun, and dirt blowing all around, and juan was inside where they are all picky about which chair you can sit in, etc.). But, in the end, we got the visa and it was all worth it. We're rating it bad because the waiting was pretty ridiculous and they were kind of rude and don't let the US citizen in or allow any communication during the day. |

The POE went pretty well for Juan. The officer who asked him questions was an Asian woman who spoke less English than he does. She asked when was the last time he'd been to the US illegally, even though he hasn't ever been here illegally. He told her that. Overall, it was okay. A little unpleasant but nothing too bad or long. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
