No packet for you guys yet, either? Looks like our timelines are super close.

I‘ve asked the embassy today. They told the packet 3 was sent on February 26.
P.S
I’ve checked my mail box 5 minutes ago und found my letter!!! Super excited!

That's awesome! I'm hoping the wait for packet 3 is not an indication that the processing of packet 3 will be longer than usual.

I’ve checked my case status at ceac.gov and I see that my case was updated on February 26. That is also the date they sent my letter.
When was your case last updated?
Lyssalou on 2020-03-02 said:
Well they updated my case to ready on the 6th then a few days later it said my case was updated the 11th. I guess he'll just have to call tomorrow :).

Hey sorry for all the questions! Did you do anything once your case status was set to "ready" or did you just wait on packet 3? The information on the website is so confusing.

Hey:) It was set 2 times to „ready“. First time on February 11 ( I believe that was the true date the consulate received my hardcopy of the case from nvc. I believe on February 6 they got only online form). And then they changed my status to ready once again on February 26, that was the date the packet 3 was issued.
I’ve written an email to embassy asking about packet 3 and they told the date the packet 3 was sent to me. Have you asked the consulate about your case? Maybe German mail service has lost the letter. Maybe you could ask them to send you the packet 3 per email

We did reach out via email on the 3rd and they said to allow 40 days for processing then send an inquiry. We planned on waiting until the 40 day mark to ask again, but we got a little nervous that perhaps we were supposed to fill out the DS-160 already or that they were waiting on something form us so I just wanted to see if you guys had submitted anything, but I think I am just being anxious about it :).
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
