My husband is a USC, my priority date is 01/7/2019, Texas service center. I have had loads of testimonial how the l-129f, speeds up the 130 process and we are in the process of filling.
To those who filed I-130. before i-129f, did you guys have to pay $535 fees for I-129F again. Thats what I see on I-129F instruction...
Sea Leslie on 2019-10-03 said:
You do not have to pay anything to file the I-129F form. But your application and supporting documents should mirror your I-130 application. Everything that you sent for the I-130 should be submitted with the I-129F.
Don't forget to include your NOA1 with your I-129F.
Lara&Gabriel on 2019-10-29 said:
Is that the whole requirements for i130 again?
Lara&Gabriel on 2019-10-29 said:
Are we gonna include i130 form again to i29f packet?
Sea Leslie on 2019-10-29 said:
You do not need to include the form from the I-130 you need to only include the NOA1 from the I-130 with the 1-128f.

Hey there!!!!
When you sent the i129f.. did you send ALL the documents you sent with the i30 as well? Or just the form itself, the i30 NOA1 and the marriage certificate? We are about to start with the k3 so we hope to get our i30 approved but we are not sure which documents we need to send out as we already sent a lot of stuff with the i30 and idk if they want to have it repeated? Please let me know! Thank you!

@VTimmy thank you so much. I hope they process my payment quickly so I can begin submitting documents
Sea Leslie on 2019-11-08 said:
@MariellJoes My I-129F mirrored my I-130 petition. The same exact information that I provided with my I-130 was the same information that I provided with teh I-129F.

My husbands i-130 PD was 05/09/2019 and on december 13th i got a notice saying they want additional proof ..i wanted to know am I eligible for the i-129 because i saw that its for a “fiance†and we’re married and i wanted to ask u if you provided all proof of marriage when u filed or dod they send u a notice asking for evidence and what is the “NOA1†i didnt quite understand
Laila1994 on 2019-12-22 said:
And does the i-129 make the process go any faster
Sea Leslie on 2019-12-22 said:
I am not sure if the I-129F make the process faster but I’m happy that I did it… the I-129F Has two check boxes you should check the spouse box not the Fiancé box.
You must send proof of a bona fide marriage, like letters, pictures, and text messages between you and your spouse.

Hey Sea Leslie,
Me and my husband just sent our I-130 off a couple of weeks ago and ended up getting Nebraska Service Center which is showing as 12 - 16.5 months 😩 We filed and submitted our I-130 form and evidence etc all online and was wondering if we could file the 129f (K3) online also? Wondering if we should print out all documents we submitted online and mail them in with the 129f but how far along after submitting the I-130 would you wait before sending in the 129F?
Thanks! And it’s awesome yours has been super quick!
Sea Leslie on 2019-12-30 said:
You can submit all supporting documents that you submitted with the I-130 as soon as you receive the NOA1 from the I-130.

Good morning Leslie. Congrats on your approval
my husband is a US citizen and he is filing his tax but don’t know what if he should file as married filing separately or married filing jointly I don't have SSN. I need your advice on how he should go about his tax filing for the purpose of immigration. Thank you.
Sea Leslie on 2020-02-29 said:
Hi... My tax accountant advised me to file married filing separately. However every case is different I’m not sure if a tax advisor would give you the same advice.
Tamarajane on 2020-02-29 said:
Thank you so much. Please at what point will I be asked to upload my police certificate
Sea Leslie on 2020-02-29 said:
NVC stage
Tamarajane on 2020-02-29 said:
The police certificate is it after I must have submitted the IV application before I will be able to upload the police certificate.
Sea Leslie on 2020-02-29 said:
We only used the police report on 2 occasions. Once for civil documents at the NVC level after payments were processed and then at the interview.
Tamarajane on 2020-03-03 said:
Good morning lesile. Please, is there a link I can check the United states poverty guideline
Sea Leslie on 2020-03-03 said:
Hi, Tamarajane - https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
