Due to Coronavirus, and the general slowness of the I-129F I had to contact our Congressman's office on two Occasions (So Far) to move things along, Once with the RFE for not getting an update and the other for not getting a response from the NVC within 30 days.
In both cases it moved forward to the next step within 3-5 days of contacting the Congressman's office.
Set Interview for 5/21, I was told I could attend but when we showed the Entrance Guards our documents they did not let me in. As with all things regarding Government Ineptitude and Incompetence the easiest reason to cite is COVID.
The actual interview was quick and there were only a few questions asked to my fiancee such as where we met, how long we'd been together, how she likes my family, where we're planning on living, standard questions. She was out 25 Minutes later with an approval. |
Processing Estimates/Stats : |
Your I-129f was approved in 284 days from your NOA1 date.
Your interview took 438 days from your I-129F NOA1 date. |

Set Interview for 5/21, I was told I could attend but when we showed the Entrance Guards our documents they did not let me in. As with all things regarding Government Ineptitude and Incompetence the easiest reason to cite is COVID.
The actual interview was quick and there were only a few questions asked to my fiancée such as:
Where we met
how long we'd been together
Why I decided to join an International Dating site
If I'd ever sent her money and how much
Why she applied 3 years back when we had first met for a tourist visa
how she likes my family
where we're planning on living
What I do for a living
What she does for a living
standard questions
She was out 25 Minutes later with an approval. Overall a much more positive and friendly interaction with the Embassy than the first time getting a CRBA for my Daughter. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
