Hi everyone,I'm new to this and I have afew concerns about the public charge,if anyone could please help me understand alittle about this it will be well appreciated....my question is I'm a USC filing for my husband abroad...I have been on food stamps,living in housing and have Obama care for myself and my USC children...will this effect our process...please I really need help...thank you

Hello everyone I hope everyone is doing well...we got approved for the i-130 in October 2019 and the nvc received our documents on November and we have received our case number but we are getting our documents ready to summit them....but my question is I have not worked but I have a couple of sponsor that makes about 60,000 a year.....I have 6 children but 3 of them are adults and that are working...do you think that my co sponsor will do or will I need a joint sponsor....your advice we'll be very appreciated...thank you in advance

the public charge rule only applies to the beneficiary, not the USC. I've read this somewhere but you can research if this is true.

Well the courts blocked the public charge rule and I have called before we got approved and the told me that everything was fine and we had no red flags and that it won't affect us because we applied before it would of gone into effect but when we posted it on the VJ others told us that it will effect us at the nvc stage
