Consulate Review: Barbados
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : August 21, 2007
Embassy Review : Interview overall went well.

We arrived at 6:45am. We put all cellphones in a locker, they supply you the key. Security scan everything. Once you go through security they put you in a open room-it's open to outside. Then they call your appointment time group: if your appointment is for 730am, you are with that group.

We waited in the waiting room, then one by one we gave one of the immigration officers our appointment letter.

We waited.

They called my fiance's name and we went to the desk. They asked for certain documents, as well as the medical evaluation. Everything that is listed in Packet 4 is needed.
I noticed they had the original I129F petition in their possession.

TO BE CONTINUED....
Rating : Very Good

POE Review: JFK
Event Description
Entry Date : 2007-08-12
Embassy Review : The immigration officer that processed us was very nice. He started whistling "Here comes the Bride".

We had no conflicts, no errors.

We gave the IO the packet, passport w/ visa. He opened the packet, made my fiance sign a document or two. Took his photo and finger prints. Gave us the form to receive the I-94 and told us congratulations and directed us where to pick-up the I-94.

Went into another area of POE gave the documents the first IO gave us. Waited 5 minutes and received the I-94.

Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
