Emailed nvcinquiry@state.gov 8/23/19. Received email from NVC with case generated 8/27/19. Due to my misunderstanding, I waited to login to their site until 9/14/19, when and when I did I paid the AOS and IV fees immediately. I could probably have done this a few days after receiving their email 8/27. Possibly could have also cut the case generation time by emailing them sooner. 11/6/19 NVC rejected the police certificate because they couldn't understand the date format and thought it was expired. I called and talked to them, the lady explained that they received the English translation I submitted but marked it "not needed" and didn't look at it. I printed them both off on one page and resubmitted it. 1/7/20 they rejected the police certificate again because they decided it's not the right document. I went and consulted with two lawyers who confirmed it is the right document. 1/28/20 submitted the police certificate for the third time with notes about the date and a page from their document finder so they can understand it's the right document and it's current. 4/6/20 received notice of DQ, NVC "will work with consulate to schedule interview" 6/29/21 received letter. 7/2 interview day 1 (submit documents). 7/6 interview day 2 (actual interview). Your interview took 1016 days from your I-130 NOA1 date.
