Hubby stood in immigrant visa line, I (US citizen) stood on the other side of the street near the US consulate for citizens. I was not allowed to stand with hubby on his side and I was not allowed to enter the building on his side or the citizens side unless I had official business of my own. Total wait time standing outside in the sun: 6 hours. (no chairs or water for citizens waiting for spouses to complete their process) Hubby spent 2.5 hours in the first building completing pre screening and waiting. Then, he went across the street to the other building where I was standing (US citizen side) for an interview and was in that building for 3.5 hours. Hubby was informed due to the travel ban, he had to be provided a denial letter however would be considered for a waiver. His case was otherwise complete, he was not missing anything and was not provided a denial based on any other reason. On 3/2 we were notified (by ceac site) that his visa had been issued! Glory be to God. Processing Estimates/Stats : Your I-130 was approved in 78 days from your NOA1 date. Your interview took 224 days from your I-130 NOA1 date.
