Local US CIS Office Review: New York City NY

Event Description
Review Date : November 6, 2019
Embassy Review : I had my green card interview today at the NYC field office. AOS based on marriage to a USC. Package filed in April 2019. I never got my AP/EAD combo card.
I was nervous but everything went fine. We got there 30 minutes beforehand and were called about 15 minutes after our scheduled time. Our interview lasted about 20 minutes.
The USCIS officer was polite but didn't seem very interested in the ton of evidence I had brought (our case was pretty straightforward I guess). He asked us how we met, took our lease, a couple of bills and bank statements. He didn't want to look at all the pictures I had brought. He asked my husband about his job, asked me the I485 questions and that was it.
He recommended us for approval, said the card should arrived in 2-3 weeks.
Harassment Level : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
