Original Visa interview date May 14, 2020. Cancelled due to Covid-19 and rescheduled for Nov 3 2020. Interview went well, but had to submit some supplemental documentation which caused a bit of a delay. |

Appointment was originally canceled due to staffing shortages. We received a phone call not to come to the interview however the USCIS website did not show any changes. We called in to USCIS general help line and they recommended to go anyway since the status had not changed in our original appointment was still showing as valid. They managed to fit us in 20 minutes after we showed up and we were approved at the interview. |

Fiancee had interview and was met with a pleasant interview. Typical questions asked..... When did you meet, where does your fiance live, what does your fiance do for a living. The interview portion went well but the visa was delayed a bit due to some additional documentation which was requested. |

Timeline Comments: 5Hello! Do you have your interview scheduled yet? :)
Yes, it was just scheduled 2 days ago. Waiting for the mail (ridiculous this can't be online) notification to see what date the interview is scheduled.
So happy for you! You can also ask EMMA what date your interview will be! Thank you for your answer and keep us posted! So nice seeing Salt Lake is moving!
How do you do that? EMMA told me to refer to the interview notice being sent in the mail??
That's odd so many are waiting longer than you for AOS. Lucky you! Did you show them the web site with an interview scheduled or did they just take you in no questions asked?
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
