Hi JacJ! What lockbox did you send your petition to? I sent mine to the Lewisville lockbox (and forwarded to CSC). I asked because I see approvals for petitions received after mine. My petition was received at the lockbox on August 14th with NOA1 dated16th. I am trying to see if petitions approved are from other lockbox locations. Thanks!

Hey there, I sent mine to the Dallas lockbox and it was sent to the CSC as well. I am seeing the same!

Thanks for the response, Jacj. This is somewhat frustrating, and it defeats the whole notion of a first-come, first-serve basis as it relates to how these petitions are processed.

I totally agree. It’s rather nonsensical and additionally frustrating that there is really no indication of what step of the petition approval process you are in. I called the UCSIS this morning and was told I could submit an official inquiry for an another 4 months or so, which is crazy considering people who have submitted petitions at the end of August are receiving approval now.

I am trying not to get too upset, but it is getting to me, and I can't understand why people that filed late August could be getting approval before the early August filers. To my surprise, July petitions are still being worked unless folks are not reporting the stages in their process on this site, especially those with RFE. What I'm trying to figure out now is if the lockbox in Dallas is dropping the ball, not forwarding petitions to CSC on time. I think it would be nice if this site could add another reporting piece of the lockbox folks send their petitions to. This way, we might be able to tell the lockbox that is slacking in doing their job. Let's see if this thread will generate insights from people that know of the inner workings of the USCIS.

You guys got to have the interview today? They started to process K1's in London again?
I had my interview back in March here in Sweden, but my visa haven't been issued yet because of the travel ban. ðŸ™
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
