Embassy Review : |
What can I say? It was as a previous member submitted, "uneventful". We stayed in the Hotel Thalia, the night before. This is a 5 star hotel just near the national theater on Narodni Trida. It was a present for my SO and her son. It also happened to be 20 meters from the clinic where they had to get to get their medical check at Polycliniki Naradni. The medical was about 30 minutes and consisted of a couple of booster shots that they both needed and a finger prick for blood testing. After some lunch we walked to the embassy and got there about 30 minutes early but there was no one there in line. We only waited about 20 minutes then a lady came and took our paperwork. Waited another 15 mintues then the Consule officer came to the window and called us up.
He was pretty cool and laid back. Surprisingly, he had this guy with him that had previously denied my honey's tourist visa back in February and kind of ragged on him a little. Then he asked if everybody spoke english, took my honey's and her son's finger prints, reminded us of the timelines and told us to come back in the morning to get their passports. After it was done, he asked where we first met in person since I guess it was clear from my description from the form so I told him about our first meeting at the train station in Prague (Hlavni Holesevice), he assumed it was Hlavni Nadrasi. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
