Got a RFE saying we didn't give marriage certificate. Fun fact, now that everything is eFilling, I checked my case and I could see my marriage certificate there... but I just sent a new copy. |

Embassy Review : |
Very smooth experience.
I went there 30min before, passed security and entered the embassy building. Then a person helps you prepare the documents you need for the first booth.
First booth:
they recheck your identity and the documents (DS160, photo, police certificate, birth certificate, letter of intent of marry, medical case and proof of payment for your interview), and prepare your case folder that the officer will later review. Also there's a finger scan. Then you sit down.
Second booth:
They call your name, you go to the booth (it's not an interview room but a simple booth), they ask you if you wanna do it in English, I said yes. Most (if not all) people before me did it in French. First you swear that you're gonna say the truth, scan your fingers. The the officer ask your some questions. Why do you want to go to the US, How did you meet? Do you have a picture of your first meeting? Have you lived abroad?... nothing complicated If you are in a real relationship and came prepared.
And... that's it. He told me I was approved and kept my passport. I've not been asked for a i134 or any other documentation. THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU WON'T SO BE PREPARED. I was prepared. |

Timeline Comments: 6Hey, did you get your interview on lawsuit or expedite?
Ju91 on 2021-02-11 said: Hi, we are plaintiffs on the Millligan v Pompeo lawsuit
Félicitations!!! We joined the 3rd round, I hope it will help as well.
This gives me so much hope! How did you become a Milligan Plaintiff? Thanks in advance, Laura
Hi guys! I'm also a Milligan plaintiff and also in the Phoenix area. I also had an RFE for things we submitted! When did you hear about your interview? We just did our biometrics and following your timeline closely! Thanks for the detailed updates!
Wishing you the best for your interview tomorrow!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
